Bonnie Stone Sunstein, professor of English and education at the University of Iowa, where she teaches nonfiction writing, research methods, and the teaching of writing. She is co-author of Fieldworking: Reading and Writing Research and has published Composing a Culture: Inside a Summer Writing Program with High School Teachers, The Portfolio Standard, and Portfolio Portraits.

Elizabeth Chiseri-Strater, professor of English at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, where she teaches research methods, women’s and gender studies, and nonfiction writing. Her publications include Academic Literacies and Fieldworking: Reading and Writing Research.
